The PESADO coffee machine portafilter has been designed to optimize efficiency and durability. The body is made entirely of stainless steel to increase strength and performance with heavy usage. Over time splits or small cracks may appear in your wooden handles, this is the normal ageing process that occurs in all wood. The cracks will not affect the integrity of the handles, as the inner thread is 12mm wide by 80mm long. Be careful around water, please do not soak or leave any of our wooden handles wet as it can cause splitting.

Why Naked, and Why It Matters Pulling shots through a bottomless portafilter is the fastest way to understand what's actually happening during extraction. Without a spout to obscure the flow, you can see immediately whether your espresso is running evenly, channelling to one side, or surging through an uneven puck. A clean, symmetrical extraction — what baristas call the "God shot" — appears as a single, unified stream of espresso flowing from the entire basket base. Any deviation tells you exactly where to adjust: grind size, distribution, tamping pressure, or dose. It's a tool for learning as much as it is for brewing, and once you've pulled a few naked shots there's no going back.
304 Stainless Steel, Fully Modular, Precision Engineered The portafilter body and spout attachment are constructed entirely from 304 stainless steel — the same grade used in commercial café equipment — for superior heat retention, strength, and longevity compared to the chrome-plated brass bodies found on stock portafilters. The 6.0mm fins (wings) are the La Marzocco-standard variant, compatible with all La Marzocco machines, E61 group heads, ECM, Rocket Espresso, Lelit, Profitec, Sanremo, Synesso, Slayer, VBM, and more. Note: both the 6.0mm and 5.0mm variants fit the same machines — the 6.0mm is the standard fit, while the 5.0mm thinner wing was developed to avoid a tight fit when used with thicker group seals or the Pesado He[%] High Extraction baskets. Choose your handle from the full Pesado modular range — black or white POM, oak wood, signature Raya, metallic finishes in black, bronze, gold, or silver, or resin ends in Dusk or Haze.
